Student at the Mime Acting Program at Stockholm University of the Arts (2023–2026). During the program I have trained in, among other things, physical expression, isolation training, ballet, acrobatics, collaborative creation processes, clown, singing, text work and voice, while also further developing my own artistic practice. The Mime Acting Program prepares students to work with physical theatre, spoken acting, and choreography/directing.
Prior to this, I was a student in the Dance Project Year at Wik, a program focused on socially engaged projects, pedagogy, and different approaches to dance and choreography. During that year I took part in founding Watch Me Bake, which aims to make performing arts more accessible in Uppsala. I created the performance Fight Club and had workshops in drag king performance.
I have also studied two years of dramatic writing at Biskops Arnö, including a foundation year and a project year. Writing is an important part of my artistic practice - both as support during the creative process and as an end in itself when writing for the stage. I have written the plays Prinsens Paria, which had a reading at Dramalabbet, and, together with Lou Mattei, My Lesbian Boyfriend, which premiered at the Queer Dramatic Writing Festival Que in Malmö.
Courses and intensives I have taken over the years include Complete Vocal Technique, Alexander Technique, and Meisner technique. I have done intensives in afrofusion with Alleyne Dance, voice and performance with Ivo Dimchev, karate and improvisation with Martin Kilvady, and partnering with German Jauregui.
Education
ACTING
Three-year acting BA. Engaged in many different types of processes, both as a co-creator and performer. Primarily on stage, but also in film.
PERFORMANCE
Experienced in working site-specifically (museums, public space etc) and with audience interaction.
DRAG KING
Several years of performing as a drag king on stage and at events, also in facilitating gender performance labs.
CHOREOGRAPHY
Creating choreography for both movement-based theatre as well as dance and performance. Leading artistic processes.
DANCE
Contemporary dancer grounded in improvisation and strongly influenced by mime technique.
DRAMATURGY AND PLAYWRITING
Knowledge of both classical theatre dramaturgy and dramaturgy for contemporary dance. Several plays and essays.
PEDAGOGY
Several years working as a pedagogue for children with a focus on dance and theatre.
WORKSHOPS
Offers workshops in writing and movement for both beginners and professionals.
SERVICE, FACILITATOR
Background in service work, including front-of-house host and facilitating artistic events.
